Evróvision

Rétt í þessu sit ég við tölvuna (eins og glöggir lesendur hafa ef til vill þegar gert sér grein fyrir) og hlusta á útvarpið. Það er verið að spila framlag Þjóðverja til Eurovision, eða Grand Prix eins og Þjóðverjar kalla hana. Þetta er týpískt fyrir þýska tungumálið, allir titlar eru þýddir en bara ekki á þýska tungu heldur ensku eða frönsku. En ég ætti nú ekki að segja mikið þar sem við Íslendingar getum státað af hinu mikla orðskrípi Evróvision þar sem aðeins er gengið hálfa leið í þýðingunni.

Þýska lagið er nú ekkert tímamótaverk, frekar en önnur framlög í þessari keppni, en ég hef þó heyrt meiri hroða frá vinum mínum Þjóðverjum í gegnum tíðina. Þetta er ástarsöngur með country-ívafi og söngkonu sem minnir pínu á Whigfield.

Til að sjá keppnirnar tvær ætla Íslendingar í Berlín að safnast saman á írskri krá. Minna má það nú ekki vera til að halda upp heiðri Eurovision-hetjunnar Johnny Logan. Það verður örugglega mikið stuð og vonandi verður leikinn Eurovision-drykkjuleikurinn sem sló í gegn í fyrra. Aldrei að vita nema það verði veðmál líka. Fyrst að Andrés er fjarri góðu gamni á ég meiri séns á að vinna pottinn.

Og viti menn – þýska Eurovisionlagið er með Eurovision-hækkun. Þá veit ég að meðan það verður leikið þurfa allir að drekka a.m.k. einn sopa.
